What is a sixth sense?
Aside from the five most of us use: smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing the sixth sense is the sense used for keen intuition. It is the sense that you use in communicating with the non-physical world of spirit.
Everyone born is given this sixth sense to communicate with spirit in the dimension in which we once came and where we will again go once we are out of our physical body.
Most people in this world are too caught up on the materialism of this physical life to even pay notice to their sixth sense. A sense they knew they were given and is there if or when their spirit wants to use it. Whereas others are very much in-tuned to this sense and are able to give information to those who seek it from the spirit world. And "those" people society calls 'Mediums'.
A Medium is not someone who is different then any other person just because we have developed how to use our sixth sense. Because of this development it does not make us any more gifted then someone who doesn't choose to develop theirs.
A developed sixth sense I have to be honest is an amazing reward but one that keeps your mind busy all the time. The information flowing through is like a waterfall.....it comes in fast and never stops. I have learned to block out a lot of information so that I am not constantly conscious of every bit that comes through. I always laugh to myself about the spirit side because they love to talk and sometimes drive me bonkers at the fact they don't stop.
